Bug - Grad Prix Story; Working vehicle is missing if being worked on bynot driver



How to reproduce
- Setup game so that you have multiple drivers
- Have the drivers drive different vehicles in the same race
- After the race get one of the drivers to research something
- Get the other driver to repair the vehicle that they were not driving


Description

When ever the drivers are working on vehicles, the vehicle themselves appear and it looks like they are working on something. However this is not the case if you get them to repair the vehicle that they did not drive.



Personal Notes:

This is another minor issue, but it just looks odd. I'm sure that they probably threw this one into the "wont fix" pile after finding lots of other issues. However just saying .. looks odd.

I still seem to be finding my self to be playing a lot these IPhone games. They are (sometimes quick) and addictive games that you can play easily and anywhere. Really want to find more of these style of games, but at the same time I also don't.

Bug - Chaos in Deponia; Unable to progress because selection is off thescreen



How to Reproduce
- Start Game in Settings select windowed mode
- Proceed to a scene where you are talking with another character
- Alt+tab out or quit the game

Description
When you get back in to the game, there is some of the scene is missing. As if it did not fully maximise the screen. This means that some of the selection is missing. And you are unable to continue.



Personal Notes:

I usually play my games in Windowed mode. This is because I usually have multiple screens running and if I'm playing windowed mode this allows me to switch between screens really easily. I'm also pretty sure that I'm not the only person who does this. A lot of people now-a-days have multiple screens and a lot of games and programs accommodate for this. Most games that have the option for windowed mode do.

Chaos on Deponia isnt really growing on me. The first one was fun and quirky. This one is just annoying. And the fact that you can display all possible hints in scenes pretty much takes the fun out of the game. I guess it is kinda fun seeing what stupid setup you need to do to get the outcome you want, look at window and complain to get a memo, where you then show to some poor guy to get his thread, which you use with fishing hooks that you got by sticking your hand into a bucket of hooks, to tie pants from a flag pole to make a sling shot to hatch an egg. Convoluted enough for you?

Ok, I guess I am having some fun. He's still an idiot though.

Bug - Chaos in Deponia; Hints stay on when selected and item pressed



How to Reproduce:
- Start Game
- Press 'spacebar' to show hints
- Select one of the hints while holding down spacebar



Description:

The hints stay on even though the 'spacebar' is no longer held down.

Personal Notes:

This is a minor issue, I think the greater issue is that i couldn't take screen shots for some stupid reason.. and that Rufus is an idiot. I didn't mind him so much in the last game, but in the expansion he's just annoying! Not sure how to describe him, but he just gets on my nerves more.

You can really tell that this is an indie game, don't get me wrong this is a good game and it is done well, and I'm sure some things were lost in translation. Its just the voice actors are ... not very good. Not saying that I could do better. Its just, I think I would like the option to see this game in its native language, and there be English subtitles

Quote of the Week: "1 + 1 = 2 plus bug"

At work going through backlog of issues, closing a lot old issue due to priorities and current relevance. As this was happening a developer commented something along the lines of "1+1=2 plus bug" in reference to developers making new content + bugs.

My response to this was "1+1 = 2 plus wont fix" in reference to all the issues created, raised and closed as 'wont fix'

Bug - Epic Astro Story: Workers able to travel through single squarestructures, path not shown however



How to reproduce:
- Start a game
- Build a structure that requires a resource
- Build a path on either side
Description
Notice that the person working at the structure would enter from either side and exit from either side, however when you place a structure, the area that the worker can move does not show past the structure. Check screen shots for further details

Personal Notes:

I've been playing a lot of IPhone games, in particular by Kariosoft. I have not seen any major issues, a couple of weird ones like small intermittent crashes that I can never reproduce or are due to some unknown error. But this looks like a path-ing (its a word!) issue.

When you select particular buildings it shows the range that the building has along the paths. However if there are things in the way, this generally means that the workers cant get past it either. However if the thing in the way is another structure, this makes things interesting. If the worker is currently working in the building or has something they want on the other side. They just walk straight through.

I would call this a minor bug. A graphical one at best. However I would call this an exploit ^_^

Bug - Starwars: Empire at war: crash when trying to blow up planet withdeath star that has hero units



How to reproduce:
- Start up game Starwars: Empire at war
- Start up a multiplayer game, select Empire as race
- Play game and build a Death Star
- Slowly take over the galaxy and slowly push all Rebel Hero units onto one planet
- Move Death Star with units to planet that has hero units on the planet
- Proceed with space battle and survive to use Death Star Laser
Description
The game crashes and window's has a program not responding error.

Personal Notes:

This is quite annoying after playing through a massive galaxy map and when your just about to win by "Fire the Laser!! Mua hahaha" .... Windows error .. game has stopped responding .... Grrr!!

So ...
